Sozos Lymperopoulos

In 2010 he returned to his birthplace to complete his military service, and from 2011 onwards he has been performing on small music stages in Thessaloniki. At the same time, he composes instrumental music for documentaries. In 2012 the Thessaloniki Association of Athens honoured him for his contribution to the arts and culture. That same year he began performing at “Magemenos Avlos”, the well-known haunt of Manos Hadjidakis, as well as at Stavros Tou Notou with his childhood friend Vasilis Floros. In 2015 he handled the production, mixing and sound engineering of Vasilis Floros’ album “I Almagesti Enos Hamali”, and right after that he released his own record “Pano Apo Tous Dromous”, with music written by himself and lyrics by Odysseas Ioannou, Nikos Moraitis, Antonis Andrikakis and Dimitra Mastoridou. In 2016 he took part in the album “Mia Agkalia Gia Ta Paidia Tou Kosmou”, performing the track “Enas Prosfygas Mikros”, whose proceeds went to Floga and UNESCO. In 2017 he released the single “Mono Esy” with lyrics by Antonis Andrikakis, and in 2018 the single “Grizes Thalasses” with lyrics by Dimitra Mastoridou. The singles “Dikos Sou Na ‘Mai” and “Agapi Stin Agapi” followed, both meeting with success. Then came the CD single “Pyxida”, released in November 2021, and “Na Agapithoume Xana” in June 2022.
